We are very excited to announce the release of Tippi Tree from our latest Angled Designer Devin Montes. Tippi Tree is an awesome new construction game which is unlike any other that has ever been created. Not only can it be played alone the same way you would with blocks or legos, but it is a dynamic (and sometimes intense) multiplayer game as well, comparable to Jenga. But Tippi Tree is not a 1-off. No it is just another week for Devin Montes. Each week Devin posts a Youtube video about creating something. (not always 3D Printed) His channel is wonderfully crafted and a great education for makers that just like to see cool stuff. Devin is prolific. Even though he has been posting videos for the last 4 years and has a subscriber base of over 500,000 he goes above and beyond on each project and has a MyMiniFactory Page with over 400 models and 9000 followers. Tippi tree is just the tip of the iceberg, Now with Angled, Devin is able to post new products that come directly from his videos. It was free for him to startup and he retains full control of his designs. But now community members can purchase the awesome new things that he creates. And since Devin receives a portion of all sales of his products, such as Tippi Tree, every purchase can go towards supporting his channel.
We're very excited to have Devin on the platform, and can't wait to see what he creates next. If you are interested buying the Tippi Tree Game, you can check it below.

The 4th generation Echo Dot has started shipping. That means that it is now possible to provide accessories for the leading smart speaker. And Angled is getting it started with a few basic accessories and some resources to other designers that would like to create accessories for the Echo Dot 4th Gen. The first thing we decided to go ahead and fix was the stability. The 4th Gen Echo dot is, after all, a ball. It is not that stable. So we made a very simple stand that it can placed in that just keeps it from rolling off of your nightstand if you are using it as an alarm clock. We then went ahead and created a few more basic stands from that platform. Each adding a different style to the Dot. All different shapes and colors. If you have an idea for an echo dot stand please submit it to us. We would be happy to add it to the site. And the designer receives 25% of all sales. The new echo dot is not one of the cheapest smart speakers anymore. Unlike the original puck design the new sphere costs 49-60 dollars. If you would like to create accessories for the echo dot. But don't want to pay for an actual new speaker. We have created and dummy model of the 4th gen echo dot. It is dimensionally accurate and can be used for the sizing, testing and photography At Angled we are trying to make the creation of new products as easy as the writing of a blog post. You just create the design and then we take care of everything else. We hope this has inspired you as to what is possible. Any product that can be 3D Printed can be sold on Angled.io. No cost of setup no fees. We take care of printing and shipping, the designers are able to monetize their creativity by making awesome products. What would you create. Look around the site for ideas of what is possible.
One of the huge powers of 3D Printing is the ability to create an individual design without any sort of startup costs. Uncommon is really leveraging this by designing 3D Printed lamps. UnCommon Lamps takes any image and create a custom lamp from the artwork. They then photograph that lamp and upload it to Angled.io. When an order is made, Angled prints the custom lamp and ships it to the customer. This leaves UnCommon to focus on marketing, design of new artwork for lamps, and licensing. They no longer have to maintain a 3D Printer farm and the logistics around manufacturing. Now UnCommon does have components that are not 3D Printed in their designs. Namely the Lightbulbs and wiring. These pieces are warehoused by Angled and assembled when each lamp is made to order. We are very excited about the products from UnCommon. They take advantage of the 3D Printing process to create truly unique products.
And here is the best part. We have partnered with UnCommon to allow other designers to create custom lamps based on the UnCommon Design. More details will be coming soon, but for now basically think of being able to make Lamps part of your custom merch, rather than just T-Shirts. The Bakers Cube was a sensation when it was first posted on thingiverse. With over 20,000 downloads it held the #1 spot for months. Seeing the interest its creators (IOMAA) attempted to fun the mass production of the product with indegogo. But unfortunately they were not successful. It was just too expensive to get a product manufactured. This is why we partnered with them when Angled.io was started. We knew that they could take advantage of the on-demand production capabilities that we had. A Cube is not made until a customer orders it. Just like an app-store all they had to do was upload the design. Then Angled printed, photographed, and deliveres the Bakers Cube to customers. All the while the creators are able to reap sales royalties every month from the sale of their product. And what a product it is. The Baker's Cube is just awesome. It combines all of your measuring cups into a single piece. Making it easy to always find what you need when you need it. Contains cup measurements for:
It is a great addition to any kitchen. You are no longer scrambling to find your 1/2 cup or rifling through a ring of teaspoons. They are all right there. All you have to do is rotate. The Bakers Cube is made from eco-friendly bio-plastic which can be industrially composted. This ensures that it is not adding to the worldwide plastics problem. Though it does require that you wash the Bakers Cube in soap and cold water, and dishwashing heat and chemicals can cause it to break down. The Bakers Cube is best for measuring dry goods like flour and sugar. When measuring liquids make sure to wash the Cube after use and allow to dry. We love the Bakers Cube here at Angled. It is a perfectly designed product that solves a problem for everyone. And we are especially excited that the guys who created it are now about to monetize their invention without having to manufacture it themselves or sell off their intellectual property.\ If you have a product design that you would like to submit to Angled.io, send it over. We would be happy to take a look and would love to add it to the site. Baker's Cube Dry Measuring Cups in a Single Cube

Designed by https://www.thingiverse.com/iomaa/about At Angled we are constantly looking for and recruiting new designers to have their products sold on the platform. (If you would like to submit your products go for it). Sunshine is one of those creators. Sunshine has been creating truly original products, that can only be created with 3D Printing. Called "print-in-place" designs, Sunshine's creations are dynamics and complex. But they require no assembly at all. They come out of a 3D Printer and they are complete. It is truly brilliant and original design The First of these products to be added to Andled.io is the spring Phone Holder. A complex mechanism, that is able to clasp your phone when it is placed in the holder, makes this piece both interesting too look at and just satisfying to watch. The piece is mainly intended to be used as a charging stand for your phone and of course an interesting conversation piece/piece of artwork for your hallway. Sunshine creates youtube Videos about all of his creations. By placing a few of them on Angled he is able to monetize these original creations in a way that was never before possible. And therefore support his channels with another source of revenue. His 3D models are just uploaded and then we here at Angled print it, create photographs and promote the product. And a portion of all sales go back to the creator.
We are very excited to have Sunshine on the Angled as a youtuber and designer. We can't wait to see what he creates next. Find Sunshine on Facebook and Youtube |
