At Angled we are constantly looking for and recruiting new designers to have their products sold on the platform. (If you would like to submit your products go for it). Sunshine is one of those creators.
Sunshine has been creating truly original products, that can only be created with 3D Printing. Called "print-in-place" designs, Sunshine's creations are dynamics and complex. But they require no assembly at all. They come out of a 3D Printer and they are complete. It is truly brilliant and original design
The First of these products to be added to Andled.io is the spring Phone Holder.
A complex mechanism, that is able to clasp your phone when it is placed in the holder, makes this piece both interesting too look at and just satisfying to watch. The piece is mainly intended to be used as a charging stand for your phone and of course an interesting conversation piece/piece of artwork for your hallway.
Sunshine creates youtube Videos about all of his creations. By placing a few of them on Angled he is able to monetize these original creations in a way that was never before possible. And therefore support his channels with another source of revenue.
His 3D models are just uploaded and then we here at Angled print it, create photographs and promote the product. And a portion of all sales go back to the creator.
We are very excited to have Sunshine on the Angled as a youtuber and designer. We can't wait to see what he creates next.

When we are working with new designers here at Angled we are constantly asked about surface finish and overall appearance. There are also the questions about material and function.
The short answer is that 3D Printed product can function as well if not better than any other process. As long as the design designs with 3D Printing in mind.
As far as appearance. 3D Printing will generally have a texture. But you can lean into that. You can use the 3D Printing layer lines like the grain in wood. Or you can apply textures to you part that cannot be created without normally have to paint of post process the piece.
But if you are just looking to know what comes off a 3D Printer without all the special design. We highly recommend you check out WildRoseBuilds. This great youtube channel prints all kinds of objects and gives you a good way to see what can come off a printer.
